13 is a Hip Hop Artist, U.S. Army Veteran, Actor and Advocate for Homeless Veteran's. Every purchase made on his physical album now 20% goes to help homeless veteran's!
Born in Buffalo, NY 13 grew up being fostered by his grandmother and they moved to the South Bronx when he was just 4 months old. At the age of 13 finding himself in trouble more often than not, he wound up in a group home. He found himself in and out of the group home and eventually ended up homeless and living in a car. Just six months before graduating High-School he dropped out. He did end up going back and getting his G.E.D..
He started getting into making music as he was getting out of the group homes. He spent much of his time in rap battles while living in the streets.
Though a U.S. Veteran his lifestyle choices led 13 back to homelessness and he was in and out of shelters for a few years. A prolific writer, 13 was able to capture his experiences and write them down. These notes became song lyrics. In 2008, he entered and won a contest landing him on Manhattan Rappers MIMS album MIMS Open Bars CD, released by American King Music on Dec 04, 2011 with a track called Vroom Vroom (Produced by Super Producer Lex Luger)
From 2009 until 2012, 13 was able to scrounge enough money to record several songs that he placed on Reverb Nation. It was there that Goomba Music heard him and offered him a recording contract.
His debut album "13" is available on Etsy and 20% of his sales goes to help homeless veteran's. His next album "Ascension Asylum " 13 should be released this year.
